Credit / Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Credit - students who have successfully completed post-secondary level study at another institution or Monash University may apply for Credit. If previous study is assessed as being equivalent to Monash University units Credit may be granted.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process of the applicant's informal learning and which allows students to gain “credit” on the basis of prior learning such as other study, work experience or life experience. If the learning is recognised as equivalent to Monash University unit content, students may be approved credit towards their course.

Subject to University/Faculty credit policy, students will be granted the maximum credit to minimise the cost and duration of course within the course progression requirements.
