International scholarships and fee-allowance

Monash University offers a range of scholarships, medals and a fee allowance for commencing and continuing international students. For eligibility criteria and full description, please read each individual entry.

Medals

• Sir John Monash Medal
  Awarded annually to recognise extraordinary academic achievement.
• University Medal for Undergraduate Academic Excellence
  Awarded annually in recognition of academic excellence. No application required.
• Academic Medal for Excellence in Graduate and Postgraduate Coursework Study
  Awarded annually in recognition of academic excellence. No application required.

International Fee Allowance

The Faculty of IT International Fee Allowance offers a one-off deduction of $1000 from your course tuition fees. It is available to full-fee paying:

• undergraduate students
• postgraduate coursework students.

You must be:

• a new Faculty of IT international student
• or a currently enrolled Monash University international student with plans to transfer into a Faculty of IT course of longer duration and have not previously received the Faculty of IT Fee Allowance.

You must NOT be:

• a recipient of a Faculty of IT International Merit Scholarship or a Monash University Merit Scholarship
• attending university on a government fee subsidy
• or sponsored to study by your employer
