In this research program, use and development of autonomous distributed intelligence to respond to traffic conditions is being investigated. This program focus on the self configuration, congestion control, use of smart antenna for ad hoc networks, intelligent vertical handovers schemes, cross layer controls of networks, vehicular communication and control networks, communication standards/policies and database query processing for cellular mobile networks, ad hoc networks, sensor networks and gene networks.
