[an error occurred while processing this directive]This unit together with FIT5057 provides a holistic approach to project management. The emphasis of this unit is on theoretical foundation of project management in global environment, and adequate level of understanding of skills necessary for people to be involved in and managing projects globally. The practical exercises and relevant case studies will familiarize students with as many of current issues/problems/solutions as possible, and thus increase their ability to recognize the potential pitfalls in managing projects globally and provide appropriate solutions for them.
2 hrs lectures/wk, 1 hr tutorial/wk
Students will be expected to spend a total of 12 hours per week during semester on this unit as follows:
Lectures: 2 hours per week
Tutorials/Lab Sessions: 1 hour per week per tutorial
and up to an additional 9 hours in some weeks for completing work, private study and revision.
Off-campus students generally do not attend lecture and tutorial sessions, however, you should plan to spend equivalent time working through the relevant resources and participating in discussion groups each week.

Ability to answer tha MCQ and provide short answers in accordance with the material covered in the lectures so far. It is an individual task.
Ability to apply the theories to the practical excercises to produce a saccessful team. Each group will have to state the percentage of work/contribution of each group member.
